Katherine E. Queck, DVM, FAVD
Dr. Queck opened The Carolinas Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic in 1993. A graduate of Iowa State University, she has performed advanced dental procedures on pets since 1986. In 1993, she became a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry of which there are less than 100 members worldwide. She regularly speaks to veterinarians and animal affiliated groups in the Carolinas.
She also presents scientific papers, conducts teaching laboratories, and provides continuing education for veterinary staff.
Dr. Queck enjoys outdoor activities especially when they include her family & pets.
Marguerite Gleason, DVM
Dr. Marguerite Gleason graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in Los Angeles, but relocated to Ohio for college. She and her husband relocated to Charlotte in 2003 and are both proud Buckeyes!
They welcomed their first baby, Brennen Reed, in December 2009 and are thoroughly enjoying new parenthood.
She has 2 furry children (2 dogs) and in her spare time enjoys traveling the world, photography, eating exotic foods, stained glass projects and outdoor activities. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and dentistry.
Dr. Gleason is pursuing a specialty in dentistry and will soon be a Fellow in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry.
Jay M. Chambers, DVM
Dr. Chambers has had a life long love for animals and decided at a very young age that his only goal was to become a veterinarian. He majored in animal science at N.C. State University and was accepted into the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.
After graduating with honors in 1987, Dr. Chambers and his wife Beth moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Chambers has now been practicing in the Charlotte area for over 21 years.
Dr. Chambers enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a special interest in dermatology and laser surgery. He is currently a member of the Veterinary Surgical Laser Society with plans to seek a fellowship position in this association.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Chambers enjoys spending time with his family and pets, playing golf and being involved in his church.
Trenna L. ManWarren, DVM
Dr. ManWarren graduated from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine and Cornell in 1993. In 1998, she and her husband relocated to Charlotte and she joined The Carolinas Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic. Her interests include geriatric medicine, dentistry, and small mammals. Outside of work, she enjoys caring for her 3 children, cooking, and training horses.
